BKS Events NOW TRADING UNDER SISTER COMPANY Fleet Personnel Ltd.

Fleet Personnel was acquired by Bryan & Kelly Maddern in June 2011 with a vision of merging the two companies together adding further value to the services provided to our clients.
By using just one company it is our belief that you will save money, assist with your budgets and cement the relationships we value.

Working in partnership with Fleet Personnel allows us to supply Corporate and Hospitality staff, Litter Pickers and Cleaning Operatives ensuring all of your Event needs are covered.

DOG'S SET TO EXPAND THE TEAM!

BKS Events is expanding its Events Team from February 2012. 2 general purpose dogs will be assisting our Night Security Teams. Both dog's will join our dog section after completing their training with our training partners Surrey Police.

HAVE YOU SEEN THE YELLOW BUS?

Our Event tour is fully functional and can be seen travelling up and down the motorways. The BKS Events Tour bus was purchased to assist with the Event Team travel and accommodation whilst away on events. The bus has 14  fitted bunks, fully functional shower and kitchen and if that wasn't good enough we even have 2 TV's and a PlayStation to keep us entertained on the longer journeys! Even the Dog's love it with their 2 stowaway kennels.

Management Changes

Martin Cleever returns following his stint with G4S and takes over the reigns over Area Manager Lidl East overseeing the Island.

Steve Walters moves from Exmouth and takes over from Georgie Price as Area Manager Bournemouth.

Mr Collin Pound joins us as Area Manager Lidl West.

Georgie Price takes up the new post of Events Area Manager and as already stated above Colin Little joins us as Area Manager Pubs & Clubs.

Accreditation

We are still the only security company in our region to proudly announce that we are the only securtiy industry authority approved contractor on hold accreditation in 3 area's namely: Key Holding and Alarm response Door Supervision Manned Guarding Likewise following our external audit we are pleased to announce that we retain our ISO 9001:2008 accreditation. We are also members of Construction line and NASDU.

Office Expansion

Due to the company expanding into new area's we have extended our Verwood head office and have an additional 3 offices. Sue Govier joined us as our Accounts Manager and has her own office, the boss now has his own office and uniforms have been moved to a new store freeing up another office which is in the process of being transformed into something new. More to follow on that on the next news flash.

Client Updates

BKS are pleased to announce that we have now signed a contract with Lidl to act as their Security provider for the SW Region,

We are pleased to announce that we have started another branch within the company. That branch being our PUBS & CLUBS department. This department is headed by our newly appointed Chris Little.

Our events season has started and we have successfully completed our first 3 major events of the year. Bournemouth's Rallye Sunseeker, Exeter's Holiday on ice and SKY PDC Darts. All in all over 150 staff were deployed to cover these events all passed without incident.
